These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Hangzhou Yinniu Technology Co., Ltd. ("Meetly", "we", "us", "our") governing your use of Meetly (the "Service"). Please read them before you sign up. By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms.
General provisions
These Terms govern your access to and use of the Meetly mobile app, web app, and website, including all features, content, and related services. Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, Cancellation Agreement, and Child Safety Policy, each of which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify you in-app at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
Ownership and licences
Meetly, including all software, design, branding, content (other than user-submitted content), and underlying technology, is owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
You may not (a) copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service, (b) reverse-engineer or decompile the app, (c) scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the Service, (d) interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, or (e) use any of our trademarks or branding without prior written consent.

Rights and obligations
Our rights and obligations
We will operate the Service with reasonable care, respond to support enquiries promptly, and process your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may remove content or accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the safety of other users.
Your obligations
- Provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- Comply with these Terms, applicable laws, and any community guidelines we publish.
- Respect other users' privacy, dignity, and safety.
- Not use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
Use of services
You may not, and may not permit anyone else to, use the Service to:
- Harass, threaten, intimidate, or stalk any person.
- Send sexual content to anyone who has not affirmatively consented to receive it.
- Solicit commercial transactions, promote external services, run multi-level marketing, or funnel users to paid platforms.
- Impersonate any real person, fictional character, or organisation.
- Post content that is hateful, discriminatory, violent, sexually exploitative of minors, or otherwise illegal.
- Distribute spam, viruses, worms, or other malicious code.
- Scrape, automate, or reverse-engineer the Service, or interfere with its normal operation.
- Attempt to bypass age verification, identity verification, location verification, or any other safety system.
Breach of any of these rules may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account, without refund of any amount already paid.
User content
You retain ownership of all content you post — photos, prompts, messages ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content solely to operate the Service. We do not licence User Content to third parties for marketing, model training, or any other purpose.
You are solely responsible for the User Content you post. You represent and warrant that (a) you own or have all rights necessary to post the content, (b) the content does not infringe any third-party rights, and (c) the content complies with these Terms.
When you delete User Content, or your account, the licence ends. Residual copies may persist in our backups for a limited period, after which they are deleted.
Reporting, blocking and moderation
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on Meetly. The following tools are available to every user, on every platform, at no cost:
- Report — every profile, photo, group post, and chat conversation carries a Report control. Pick a reason, add detail if you want, and the report goes straight to our Trust & Safety queue.
- Block — you can block any user from their profile or from a chat. A blocked user can no longer see your profile, contact you, or appear in your matches, and you no longer appear in theirs.
- Automated filtering — uploaded photos and video, profile prompts, group posts, and messages are screened automatically before they are published, for nudity, sexual content, apparent age, hate speech, threats, spam, and off-platform solicitation. Content that fails screening is withheld pending human review.
- Reach us directly — if you cannot use the in-app tools, email service@ynmeetly.com at any time.
We review every report and act on reported objectionable content within 24 hours. Where a report is upheld we remove the content and eject the user who posted it — suspending or permanently terminating the account, blocking the device, and, where the law requires it, referring the matter to law enforcement. Reports involving minors are handled under our Child Safety Policy at the highest internal priority.
By posting User Content you accept that we may remove content and terminate accounts on this basis, without refund of any amount already paid.
Subscriptions and payments
The core Service is free. We may also offer optional paid features that unlock additional functionality.
- All paid transactions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, not by us directly.
- The title, length, and content of each subscription, along with its price and billing period, are shown in the app and in your app store before you confirm the purchase. Nothing is charged until you confirm.
- On iOS, payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you selected.
- You manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renew in your store account settings after purchase — on iOS, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancellation is processed by the store, not from within the Meetly app.
- Where a free trial or introductory offer is provided, any unused portion of the free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription to that plan.
- Refunds are governed by the rules of the App Store or Google Play, and by your local statutory rights.
- If we change subscription prices, we will give you at least 30 days' notice before the new price takes effect.
Detailed refund and cancellation procedures are set out in our Cancellation Agreement.
Third parties
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party platforms (Apple, Google, Facebook, payment platforms, identity verification providers, mapping providers). Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of their services. We are not responsible for third-party services or content beyond our own.
Apple App Store — additional terms
This section applies only if you obtained the Meetly app from the Apple App Store. It supplements the rest of these Terms, and where it conflicts with another section it prevails for the iOS app. In this section, "Apple" means Apple Inc. and its subsidiaries.
- Acknowledgement. These Terms are concluded between you and us only, and not with Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the Meetly app and its content.
- Scope of licence. The licence granted to you under these Terms is a non-transferable licence to use the Meetly app on any Apple-branded product that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set out in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the app may be accessed by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
- Maintenance and support. We are solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the app. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services in relation to the app.
- Warranty. We are solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent they are not effectively disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our sole responsibility.
- Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the app or your possession and use of it, including (a) product liability claims, (b) any claim that the app fails to conform to an applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and (c) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
- Intellectual property. If a third party claims that the app or your possession and use of it infringes that party's intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
- Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that (a) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and (b) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Contact. Questions, complaints, or claims about the app should be directed to Hangzhou Yinniu Technology Co., Ltd., Room 1649, Zone D, 16/F, Building 1, Dongfangmao Commercial Center, Dongxin Subdistrict, Gongshu District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China — service@ynmeetly.com.
- Third-party terms. You must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the app.
- Third-party beneficiary. You acknowledge and agree that Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that upon your acceptance of these Terms Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
Termination and restrictions
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete. Deletion is processed within a reasonable period after you confirm the request.
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if (a) you violate these Terms or our community guidelines, (b) your activity creates risk for other users, (c) continuing the Service would violate law, or (d) we discontinue the Service. We will normally give notice before terminating, but not for serious safety violations.
Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that you will meet anyone. We verify identities in good faith but do not validate every claim a user makes about themselves.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD 100. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under your local law.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding choice-of-law rules), without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply where you live.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation. Please contact us first at service@ynmeetly.com and we will try in good faith to resolve the matter. If negotiation fails and the dispute remains unresolved within 60 days, either party may bring the dispute before the competent people's court with jurisdiction at the registered seat of Hangzhou Yinniu Technology Co., Ltd. Users outside mainland China retain whatever rights are guaranteed to them under their local consumer protection law.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms are drafted originally in English; if there is any discrepancy between the English version and a translation, the English version prevails.
